Aphamed was created to solve three major challenges faced by customers in buying medicines.

 

Challenge 1: Order Fulfilment

As the number of pharmaceutical companies continue to increase it's nearly impossible for a retailer to stock all the different formulations of all the companies under the sun. In such scenarios, retailers propose an alternative for some formulations, which is not wrong, but the customers are usually reluctant to buy a substitute thinking it could be a generic that the retailer is pushing for their profits. Unfortunately, 50% of the time it's true.

Alphamed champions here. We are not an e-commerce company but a pharmacy partner. We notify the partner pharmacies of your order who in turn procure all your medicines from the respective company suppliers and deliver it to you.

   

Challenge 2: Discounts

Promotions and offers have now become the trend that helps a business to increase sales. Hence, retailers offer discounts based on their cost, sales and many other aspects. Nowadays, the discounts at pharmacies are anywhere between 0-20%. But how is that possible? Why is someone not giving any discount whereas there is someone giving up to 20%? It all depends on the range of medicines at a pharmacy. Bigger the range, lower the discount. 

After thorough analysis of margins on different medicine brands, cost and all other aspects, Aphamed has designed a discount template (link here). It not only benefits the customer but all the people who are in this service from a retailer to a delivery boy to sustain a business.

Challenge 3: Delivery

Online shopping may have hampered the business of a lot of brick-and-mortar shops, but there is one advantage that is very difficult to beat - The Home Delivery service. Customers are not always in a state to go out and buy stuffs. May be due to the weather, or the dearth of shops nearby, or the choice of products at the shop nearby. Online purchase has given a new dimension to shopping experience.

Here, Alphamed serves in both categories. As we are not an online shopping firm, we help local pharmacies to partner with us thus boosting their sales as well. Secondly, we partner with only those pharmacies that can fulfil our three main conditions - Order completion, Discount process and free home delivery.
